1. Identify and assess their thesis statement.
2. Identify and assess their evidence & analysis - is it clearly stated? Does it support the thesis statement? Are quotes properly introduced and broken down?
3. Proofread for paragraph structure, as well as major grammatical issues - including awkward phrasing.
